Qld played all over us and are to good looks like another clean sweep to you this year.

The ref was embarrassing, simple as that. He made bad calls for or against both teams. NSW did seem to benefit from his calls.

NSW weren't looking too bad for awhile, the first half score was a reasonable reflection of the game, the stats were pretty close. But, QLD did look stronger.

The second half went to QLD, as did the game. NSW appeared to lose the plot a bit and it cost them. NSW attack was not very good at all and their defense started to look very very shaky.

I had to laugh when at one point it seemed like about 6 NSW players pushed Civoniceva back when he was close to the line, it did look pretty good and powerful, he isn't an easy man to stop and they pushed him back quite a ways. The NSW players were really pleased with themselves. Pity they didn't make it back into the line properly and instead QLD scored on the next play. Lesson there.

How many forward passes did both teams get away with in the game, sheesh, that was appalling.

But, while the whole QLD team seemed to play really well, Thurston was the man. I cannot say enough good things about how well he played, he was superb. Must be the Kiwi in him eh. Lockyer, where would we be without him eh.

I won't rip off Kimmorley, he actually tried pretty hard. His work rate was high, his defense not too shabby. But NSW gave away a couple of really dumb costly penalties, and you can't blame Kimmorley for every failing in the NSW team. The coach could do with some words.

QLD are not invincible, but the team is damn strong. A well drilled team with considerable depth. But neither would I be surprised if NSW took the next game.

More biff though, more hard out hit ups, NSW need to man up a bit.

The ref was fuckin useless....but not as useless as the NSW forward pack.And yes Kimmorley
